Collection and Handover

The owner will either provide access to Countryside Tails to collect the Dog from the agreed address at the agreed times on the agreed days, or provide Countryside Tails with a key to the property. Countryside Tails will only use the key to the owners property to collect and return the Dog and for no other purpose. All property keys will be kept safe and securely by Countryside Tails and the key will be securely kept and not labelled with address details and returned on request.

Access to your property must be straight forward i.e. keys should open doors easily or gates should be easy to open. If access to the property cannot be gained, after making every reasonable effort you will still be charged for the walk.

The Dog owner will supply suitable collars and/or harnesses for the Dog, and any coats or accessories if required for the walk. Under The Control of Dogs Order 1992, any dog in a public space must wear a collar with the owner's details inscribed on the collar itself or on an attached plate, badge, or tag.

All dog collars, harnesses and leads provided by the owner, must be both secure and safe. Countryside Tails will not be held liable for injury or damage caused or incurred by the dog from an ill-fitting or faulty collar or lead.

All dogs will be cleaned to a satisfactory condition before being returned home from a walk. However, Countryside Tails will not held liable for any associated grooming or cleaning charges, as a result from the dog walk.
